Soroptimist International of Barbados (SIB) is a member of Soroptimist International, which is a service club for women. The club encourages service to the community, fosters goodwill and friendship nationally and internationally, and has representation on United Nations agencies.

SIB is involved in and coordinates many community-based projects, and also adopts projects for study and action within the Caribbean region and internationally.
